Muaf Moda is a place located on a corner of the most beautiful street of Moda. It has an ideal garden where you can have breakfast under a tree whose leaves sing a song whilst you’re there. It’s calm, relaxed and most of all, you have a chance to have a mint yet humble breakfast in this peaceful place. What is more, this is provided by high quality staff.
Muaf Omelette,Muaf Tost
I haven’t seen the name of this place in the best breakfast lists. However, they have a presentation style that can compete those names. At Muaf Moda they don’t have much unique specials of their own. There are two specials I can mention: Muaf omelette and MuafTosti. The rest is all Turkish breakfast stuff we known, such as tomato, cucumber, white cheese (similar to feta cheese), Kashar cheese, home-made jam, olives, tea and etc. Muaf Tost consists of kashar cheese, tomato and dill in between two slices of white bread. You have a chance to smir butter on toasted, crunchy bread. I can’t say it’s a very different, a difficult taste to make, however, it’s a humble special that can definitely meet your “good tosti” expectations.
Next, Muaf Omelette we’ve ordered is a special prepared with the harmony of parsley, dill and Bergama Tulum cheese. I find it very good. They don’t overcook the eggs. So, the omelette is not dry, and you have a juicy omelette. Although they don’t have very unique specials, they use the best ingredients to prepare their food. Their cheese is good, and tomatoes are juicy and tasty. They don’t serve you tasteless, bland vegetables. They also bring a sort of tomato-pepper taste similar to acuka. This paste is well-thought; however, it could taste much better if they used home-made tomato paste instead of canned ones. For now, it can be seen as place where they serve classic Turkish breakfast (or village breakfast) with quality ingredients. I believe with a couple of magical touches, the staff of Muaf can bring this place to another level.
They have a young and hard-working team
The staff at Muaf Moda is also very friendly. They know how to deal with the classic grumpy customers on during Sunday breakfast. It’s nice to see these young people running around with their smiling faces.
